An Ornate Oscars After Party

Ever wonder what celebs do after the Oscars?

They go to the most anticipated party of the night, The Annual Academy Awards Governors Ball.

The Academy Awards Governors Ball is the biggest party of the year in Hollywood. 
And when I say big I mean a whopping 1,500 hungry and thirsty A list guests in need of an entertaining party.So how does the biggest party of the year handle such a huge responsibility?  They use only the best of the best when it comes to planning and designing  all aspects of the night. Good thing Governors Ball is being held at Hollywood and Highlands 65,000 square Grand Ballroom.

 For the past 22 years Cheryl Cecchetto, owner of Sequoia Productions has managed and produced the famed  Academy Awards Governor's Ball .
Cheryl  has this to say about her company "We create 'experiences' not events, and we are a full service company, designing everything from the décor to the menu to entertainment, florals and lighting. We take every detail seriously, even down to the departure gift. In short, the works!"

For the 18th year Mark Held and his team at Marks Garden are designing floral arrangements for the Academy Awards Governors Ball. 
Marks website says the following about their company "Mark Held and Richard David have created a most unique floral environment: part retail flower shop and part design studio." Marks Garden has been featured on shows such as Oprah , ET's Insider. and was named "L.A.'s best" by Los Angeles Magazine.

While feeding 1,500 guests sounds like a majorly daunting task to most people,Chef Wolfgang Puck doesn't seem phased by it.
 For 14 years Wolfgang Puck Catering has served guests at the Academy Awards Governors Ball.  According to Mr Pucks website "Wolfgang formed Wolfgang Puck Catering (WPC) in May 1998, alongside partner Carl Schuster. The company brings a new level of innovation and inspiration to restaurant and special event catering and foodservice management for cultural, corporate and entertainment venues across the country."

Salmon Oscar's
Kobe peef burgers
Salmon Pizza
"Black Swan" paella
Dover Sole
