Emmy's, Celebs & Roadkill oh my

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending Doris Bergman's 3rd Annual Primetime Emmy Style Lounge with Roadkill Ranch buyer/owner Julie Rasmussen! If you know me, then you know that I love celebs, fashion, L.A. and talking to strangers :) So this my friends was a HUGE deal for me! To think that I was chosen to go along for the ride for this event meant so much to me.
Thank you!
Now lets get on with the (fashion)show!  Julie and myself for Roadkill!

Victoria Rowel (Single Ladies) & myself for Roadkill.

Ben Feldman (Drop Dead Diva/Mad Men) & Myself for Roadkill

Jason Ritter (Parenthood) & Myself for Roadkill!
R.J. Mitte (Breaking Bad) Julie & Myself for Roadkill!
Jamar Rogers (The Voice) & Myself for Roadkill!
William Shatner & Myself for Roadkill!
That was such an awesome day, we spoke to so many celebs, stylists and even got interviewed by media outlets too! I loved meeting Jason Ritter, we had a moment :) haha...we kept posing for pics and I sai…

Special Event Fashion

This week at work I got to go to a special event that involved A. celebs and B. the Emmys! I was beyond excited to go, if you know me, you know I'm a celeb whore. Why am I so obsessed? Who cares, lets talk fashion! I prepped my look the night before so that I would know exactly the look I wanted. I wore a Versace style dress from Roadkill along with these emerald earrings. Red lipstick, bronzer and lots of eye liner were on my list as well. And at the last minute I found some blue suede pumps from H&M for $25 bucks! STEAL!

Stay tuned to see who I met at this special event!!! EEK

Fashion Coincidence?

Before and after

I feel like a completely different person, and in a good way! Really digging this dark brown/black (that I did myself). Was getting tired of my red hair that was growing out dark brown, so why not just go with it.

Have you you ever done a drastic change to your look or hair color? I love extreme changes in hair!

Can I tell you something?

As I sit here at a lovely cafe in Downtown Fullerton, I wonder what has stopped me from blogging for so long. In the blog world a month or so is long enough for you to think I may have fallen off the face of the planet. But I assure you that I have been away for reasons that are more awesome than I could have imagined. In the last month I have gone through a change of lifestyle. For a while I wasn't sure what I was doing with myself, doing things that we're out of character, constantly mad angry and upset at my situation. Now, I would be lying if I said it didn't happen over night, because it did. My life changed over the course of mere hours. Let me tell you something...
When you know what you want, you will be given what you desire to make you happy in life.
One night I laid in bed alone feeling like another day had gone by with me not knowing what my purpose was or how to really feel truly happy anymore. The days of summer were filled with more sadness …

Tales of DIY TeePee's & Merchandising

You always start with a theme, that is where you begin to draw things together and get excited about window displays. This is exactly what happened when we decided to go with a Native American/Southwestern theme theme at RLT. I thought this theme would work for the store because we have a natural living and DIY presence and clientele. Take a look and see how it all came together.

We are all so excited about how this window came out! Thanks to my ladies Eloisa and Leigh for doing a wonderful job designing and installing!
