Black Beauty

I had a lovely afternoon, but today wasn't it. These are some photos from a few weeks ago with my black cats in the garden. Sometimes I cant wait to come home and see them, animals have a way of making me feel calm. I brought home Momo and Dezmo a few years ago from the animal shelter and great companions and love getting their photo taken. Black cats are the best!

One Last Hoorah

Today I took one last look through the lens of my sad and broken (since like May) camera. Taking photos is like breathing, I don't have to think about it really. I'm the unofficial photographer for my life I have felt lost with out a fully working camera. You see the last moment I took a photo with flash seems like light years ago. And I remember every moment of it. To cool to do the whole hand above head shot and not cool enough to keep the camera from falling over and breaking.

Sad sad sad :(

So instead of feeling like I have a pin hole shoe bow for a camera( well its like almost always blurry shots now) I will be going out and purchasing a new one tomorrow! You can expect way more photos and better quality.

Before I go I took a few last photos on my camera today with my favorite kitty models and the best backdrop for a camera with no flash, the sunshine and the great outdoors! The sun really helps out and alos the fact that the cats were standing still. Hope you love it.

Laura Burch Cat Artwork

If you really know me then you know that I love cats whether they are my own cats, someone else's cats or arts and crafts of cats. In my opinion the coolest cat artwork comes from Laura Burch, check it out and you'll see. She makes cats become mystical creatures that stare at you with lovingly big eyes.

I just might be the only person who would actually wear these Laurel Burch cat earrings. I love them they remind me of the ones my grandmother gave me for Christmas.

This past Christmas my Grandmother gave me a coin purse similar to this one. Mine is purple and on display next to my other ethnic cat tchotchkes.

-Blue Cats with Butterflies-

This painting is so mystical, I mean the blue cats are putting me in a trance. I'm not a huge fan of butterflies but I can make due because this painting is beautiful.

What are your favorite outdoor activities?

Being outside in itself can make my mood go up. The fresh air and sunlight really make a difference and can help me feel like I have space. When outside I love sitting in the sun and just being. An added bonus of being outside is that I will likely find a furry friend running around to keep me company. The cats also love to be outdoors. I took a few photos of them because they are so innocently cute as can be.
