1st day of FALL

Happy First Day Of Fall everyone!

I was hoping today would be a rainy-relaxing day, but unfortunately it inst raining...and I'm getting sick. :( Woke up today with a headache, stuffy nose, watery eyes and no desire to do anything (homework)...I had to get my car towed away to get fixed...hopefully I didn't ruin to the point of not worth fixing. So, today just is not my day. I know it could be worse, so I will just suck it up and take my chicken soup with a side of Excedrin and day-quill.

Later this week I'm hoping to be able to find these pumpkin spice Hershey kisses to curve my craving's for PSL's.

On a final note I wanted to share this sweet pic of my boys Momo & Henry taking their nap together. I walked in my room and they were sleeping as is, seriously cute.

Although I'm not allergic to gluten I do understand that it must be annoying to have to constantly check labels at grocery stores. One of my girlfriends was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and I have seen her struggle. Tart's

Today I stopped by Borders to browse some magazines and relax. I looked through the fall inspired magazines and noticed that they had a lot of torts in all of them. Made me lust after a rustic tart to go with a soup and salad. I found all of these lovely tarts and linked them to their recipes so if anyone else feels so inclined to have a tart this weekend. Have you made home-made tarts before? I don't really ever cook so I'm not sure if these recipes are easy or not.

Embassy Suites Brea, Ca

Yesterday my mother and I stopped by the Brea Mall for to stock up on some essentials form Sephora and Bath and Body Works. We usually park under the Embassy Suites because it has lots of parking and its close to the mall. In all the years of going to the Brea Mall and parking in

this lot we have never seen what the Hotel looked like inside. I have always been curious as to

what the Tut's bar looked like inside so we ventured in and took a look.

I thought this sign was pretty funny looking, don't you think?

We thought oh what the heck lets walk around and take an impromtu tour of The Embassy suites...When we spotted on of those glass elevators we had to go in it just for the fun experience.

Up we went to the 7th floor of the hotel.

On our way to the pool we came across some very cool mosaic artwork.

Here is thee lovely pool area, doesnt it look nice for being right next to a mall?

And even better the spa area...aaahhhh

Here is the foyer entryway to the hotel, I just loved he cat statues.

This cat statue reminds me way to much of my cat Momo, same eyes and muscular body.

Although I have never stayed at The Embassy Suites in Brea I would recommend it, it has a pretty good rating on trip adviser. I really like the funky Egyptian theme they have going on and the pool is really nice and the open courtyard in the middle is unique looking.

Coffee Break: Cloudy Veronese kinda day

Wow I feel like an internet recluse lately. I'm sorry that I have been MIA as far as posting, and by the way I never thought that I'd have as many followers as I do now. Thanks again everyone that was involved in my last giveaway.

I have had zero internet at my house since about a week ago, so sad I know. Anyone who is addicted to the interests like I'm knows exactly how I feel. To make matters worse I have an online math class...boo..hoo.What is one to do with no internets and online classes? Well I have to be creative and think outside my box (house) I have been going to Starbucks alot more to use their internet, but hey its really boring and reeks of breakfast sandwiches and freaks.

So I ventured on over to Fullerton today (which is not at all far from my usual haunts) to the lovely one and only Veronese 419 Cafe. I wish I could let you in on where Im sitting and experience the feeling of peaceful, laid back, I don't feel like were in Kansas anymore vibe thats going on here.

So here is my ohh soo cliche photo featuring my Caramel Machiatto from Veronese Cafe. So chic, so good and so perfect for an overcast day spent doing math equations. Now, if it rained my day day would be complete.

Trina Turk & Jonathan Skow's stellar L.A. home

Architectural Digest Russia has a really great article featuring my favorite fashion designer Trina Turk and Photographer Jonathan Skow' Los Angeles home. I can't understand the article because it's not in English, but the photos of their home are stellar. I have always wondered how their home looked ever since I fell in love with Trina's clothing and stores. I'm noticing that her home has more bold colors and neutral a neutral backdrop. Such a noticeable difference when you look at her commercial shop style, bright, neon and lots of white.
