Let's drink to this

Jalapeño-Lime Spritzer

Serves 4Total Time: 05m


  • 3 cups club soda
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar
  • 1 lime, thinly sliced
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, thinly sliced (seeded, if desired)

  • Directions

1. In a pitcher, combine the soda, lime juice, nectar, lime, and jalapeño.

2. Serve over ice.

I tried this drink last night and it was pretty interesting. Not too spicy, and I added a bit of tequila to it to liven it up a bit. I recommend this drink on a hot afternoon.

Frozen Blueberry Lemonade

Serves 4Total Time: 05m


  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, plus more for serving
  • 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar


1. In a blender, puree the blueberries, lemonade, mint, confectioners’ sugar, and 3 cups ice until smooth.

2. Garnish with mint sprigs.

Gingery Peach Cooler

Serves 4Total Time: 05m


  • 3 cups ginger ale
  • 1/2 cup peach nectar
  • 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger


1.In a pitcher, combine the ginger ale, nectar, peaches, and ginger.

2.Serve over ice.

The following beverages were discovered today while reading the latest copy of Real Simple magazine. They look so refreshing and I'm particularly fond of the jalapeño lime concoction because I love mojitos. One of these summer days I will get around to making these drinks.

I don't drink {much} alcohol, and lately found that I stopped drinking altogether, so these recipes are awesome. I can still indulge in a tropical drink minus the booze. Thank you very much for posting these.
